Completely covers the field and it is large.

This book requires that you have MATLAB version R2007a or later. Although there is a CD supplied with the book, it does NOT have a copy of MATLAB on it. The CD includes: a couple of additional chapters for the book, the figures and M-files included in the book, and a MATLAB 3D Heat Transfer Program.
Note that this is the second edition, copyright 2011 replacing the first edition of 2008. It is a large book, about 1200 pages, and while the authors say it is suitable for a course, I suspect it is suitable for two courses over a year rather than just a semester.

The best Engineering Heat Transfer Book
By Combat Aircraft of World War II 1943-1944
As an engineer I have gone through many heat transfer books and I must say this is the best written book in the subject. This book has a modern approach to problem solving and contains many solved problems that focus on applications. The book contains lots of Matlab code examples as well.

It is a suér book for students and teachers, I highly recommended it. My only comment is about the content of the CD, it should bring the whole chapters in PDF because sometimes it is more easy to present it in the classsroom. thanks a lot. I like this book.
